Sometimes you need a little more weight to sink the fly, or you need a little more bling to attract the fish, but either reason is perfect for using the Bead Head Peacock Futsu Kebari. It’s easy to tie and very effective!
Materials List:
- Hook: Firehole Sticks 317
- Bead: Brass bead, gold
- Thread: YLI Silk Thread #100, Color 202 – Red
- Hackle: Grizzly saddle
- Body: Peacock herl
- Tag/Rib: Ultra Wire – Brassie, gold
If you want to fish this fly, but don’t tie flies, you can buy a tungsten bead version from DRAGONtail Tenkara. Another source for either the brass or tungsten version is Teton Tenkara.
