The 2026 Issue of Tenkara Angler is Now Available!

I’m so happy to (finally) be able to announce that the 2026 issue of Tenkara Angler magazine is now available.

2026 Tenkara Angler Print Magazine

Let’s Turn the Pages…

The 2026 magazine has quite a bit of variety in it, with wonderful storytelling, epic trip reports, some international travels, quite a bit of D.I.Y. and fly tying, as well as a stellar angler’s guide to visiting Rocky Mountain National Park.

All in all, it’s a pretty well rounded issue that is certain to have an article you’ll want to bookmark to read again later.

Familiar and new contributors include: Amanda Hoffner, Anthony Naples, Charles Davis, Chuck Grimmett, Dario Martini, Dennis Vander Houwen, Don Lux, Dre Fornasiero, Fred Church, Guenther Shepherd, Ivan Zoot, Jason Aptaker, Jay Guarneri, Jerry Reitz, John Husted, Justin Ide, Keeley Driscoll, Mike Garrison, Nick Feller, Payton Skidmore, PJ Stevko, Steve Allen, and William Robichaud.

For now, this issue is only available as a physical magazine and/or PDF download in the Blurb bookstore, HERE.

Notes About Purchase

While this 104 page issue is still a bit more expensive than I would like, if you’d like to order a physical copy it will retail for $29, instead of last year’s $26. The printer made sure to charge us for the extra pages and print-on-demand still isn’t cheap. (Full transparency, we only make a few $ an issue.) But I will say, and as those that have bought prior issues can attest, this Premium issue is a really high quality, heavy paper stock. Not a read & recycle/discard sort of magazine.

The magazine takes about a week or two to print, ship, and deliver the physical copies if you’re interested. And if you just can’t wait, there’s also a far less expensive PDF option at $10 with instant download.

What if I Wait?

While there’s nothing quite like paging through a physical magazine, there will be other options in the future… given you’re very patient. As always, we will eventually add this magazine to our “free” magazine reader (as in the past). You can check out last year’s issue there right now. We’ll also begin to publish the individual articles to the Tenkara Angler website starting sometime later this year.

I really hope you all enjoy the 2026 Tenkara Angler magazine as much as we enjoy bringing it to you. Sorry it took a little longer than usual, and apologies for any typos I failed to catch. Thank you so much for being a fantastic fishing community!
