In Episode 17 of the Tenkara Angler Level Line Podcast, Mike, Matt, & Anthony touch on some current events in their fishing lives and speak with a special guest.
In the first half of the episode, Tenkara Angler banter includes Anthony discussing some learnings he’s made fishing the same water consistently in May. Next, Matt recaps a wonderful community event, the Driftless Tenkara Campout. And then Mike frets over where the “too much vs. too little” line is drawn when it comes to packing for an upcoming trip.
To close things out, Anthony spends some extended time with Roanoke, Virginia based angler, Mike Garrison. Mike discusses his entry into tenkara, why he enjoys it so much, the similarities (and differences) between a euro-nymphing & a fixed line (tenkara) nymphing setup, as well as the value in fishing with guides.
We really enjoyed putting together this podcast, especially our time with Mike Garrison. We hope you like it too. Check it out!
