We don’t typically post on a Saturday morning, but we wanted to pass along the following note from our friend Bill Holleran at Red Brook Tenkara.

Bill is truly one of the “good guys” within our sport, so we’re saddened to see that Red Brook Tenkara is closing its doors at the end of the year. He has contributed a lot to the fixed line community over the years, being an ambassador for tenkara across New England, as well as creating the extremely popular White Mountains Tenkara Campout. The team at Tenkara Angler would like to give Bill a huge “thank you” for everything he and Red Brook have accomplished.
We hope that you, like us, will consider supporting Red Brook Tenkara during it’s final weeks of operation, and of course visit Bill’s new blog, Red Spots & Blue Halos!

Thank you for all you have done, Bill!!
I only had the pleasure of meeting Will at the last Tenkara Campout but definitely appreciate what he has done for this community. Looking forward to seeing him again at next year’s campout.
