Really enjoyed this episode. A lot of great ideas. The item I liked the most was Mike’s beer can cooler. I’ve been looking for something that I could carry a few a rods in and keep in my car or be able to throw easily into someone else’s vehicle and not be fumbling around with loose rods and/or tubes. As soon as Mike showed it I knew that was my answer. When the episode was over I jumped on Amazon and ordered the cheapest one they had. It arrived a couple of days later. I threw the few loose rods I had floating around in the back of my car into it because the next day I was heading out with my son and son in-law so my son could cut his Christmas tree. There was a river right next to where we were going so I fished while he looked for a tree. It was so nice to be able to just throw the “cooler” into my son in-law’s truck and not be fumbling with loose rods.
The other item I liked was Mike’s IKEA Frakta bag for the same reason. Still need to acquire one of those.
I actually like Tom’s walking stick also. I made one based on his design earlier this year and it has saved my butt a few times.
Thanks guys for all you do for the community and sport. Keep up the great work
Glad you enjoyed the episode – and that the rod cooler tip worked out for you!
