The 2022-23 print issue of Tenkara Angler is over 140 pages of community-submitted articles and photos. It’s a well-rounded issue with a lot to offer.

The first section features Essay & Opinon, with articles about conservation, tenkara rods, and an angler’s introduction to the sport. Next we head into Trip Reports, which are all phenomenal from the East Coast to the West Coast, even a trip to the UK. Then we take a spin Around the Globe and hear from Japanese anglers (including Dr. Hisao Ishigaki), with stops in Croatia and Slovenia along the way. Fixed Line Fly Fishing catches salmon, large trout, and even everyone’s favorite fish, bluegill. Techniques & Tactics get in depth on handling big fish and smart on manipulations. For those handy, D.I.Y. & Fly Tying shares a fly recipe, builds a wading staff & an interline tenkara rod, and does something with hair you’ve probably not considered. Then we wrap up fishing the Riffles featuring some wonderful reader photos.
